Call for Abstracts & BEST ABSTRACT CONTEST

The Program Co-Chairs are soliciting abstracts for both oral and poster presentation. Abstracts may report on basic nuclear medicine science, research, clinical investigation, educational inovations, interesting case reports or educational innovations. The selection will be based on subject originality, study design, and scientific relevance to medical knowledge. The reporting of appropriate data and conclusions in the abstract is critical to the selection process. Participation by residents, fellows, practitioners, and technologists is strongly encouraged. There will be a $250 award for the best abstract submitted by a trainee (technologist, physician, scientist or pharmacist).

The deadline for submitting abstracts is Friday, December 20, 2008! Abstracts received by this date and accepted by reviewers will be published in a Spring issue of the Clinical Nuclear Medicine journal. To submit an abstract, simply email your abstract as an attached file to the Chapter office (cmetzger@swcsnm.org). Abstracts must be 250 words or less.
