Final Program

Our Program Co-Chairs, Amol Takalkar, MD and Julie Lentz-Koehn, CNMT along with input from the Program Committee have developed the following final program (of course, speaker illness, etc. could modify the actual program). Please note that we have scheduled four hours of CT Case Review and are planning three hours of SAM credit.

*SAM Courses are intended but must pass a rigorous ACR review process which won't be complete until days before the program. Therefore, we can only say at this point that we expect to offer these SAM Courses.

Continuing Education
CME: This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of SNM and the Southwest Chapter, SNM. SNM is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The SNM designates this educational activity for a maximum of 18.5 AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
VOICE: VOICE credit is pending approval from the SNMTS.
CAMPEP: SNM is applying to the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Education Programs, Inc. (CAMPEP) to be able to offer Medical Physics Continuing Education Credit (MPCEC) to physicists attending the meeting.
SAM Credit: To claim Self Assessment Module (SAM) credits for a Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program, you must first be enrolled in a program of this type through the American Board of Radiology (www.abr.org) or the American Board of Nuclear Medicine (www.abnm.org). SAM sessions also qualify as Category 1 CME and can serve to fill that requirement alone or in addition to the MOC.

For more CE information, call the Chapter office at 830-257-0112 or email cmetzger@swcsnm.org.
