Our meeting hotel is the Omni Hotel, one of Houston's premier hotel properties, located on Buffalo Bayou nearby to the Uptown and Galleria shopping and entertainment districts. With fantastic city views, five-diamond service and amenities, the finest of dining and world-class shopping on your doorstep, the Omni Houston Hotel is the only way to experience America's fourth largest city.

Preliminary Focus of 2009 Educational Program:

This year we would like our attendees to detail the importance of how practice decisions affect patient care. We will highlight applications in Clinical Nuclear Medicine, PET, and Cardiology. We will focus on the importance of accreditation, reduction of estimated radiation dose in imaging, ethical considerations for the imaging professional, and structured reporting. The meeting will consist of continuing education tracks on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Friday's topics will center around PET imaging with highlight lectures on the impact of PETCT and other diagnostic imaging modalities on detecting and understanding disease.

Then on Saturday the faculty will discuss clinical nuclear medicine topics such as pediatric imaging and applications in neurology.

Finally, on Sunday we will conclude our program with a lecture series on cardiology.
