Continuing Education Information

Continuing Physician Credit
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through a joint sponsorship with the SNM and the Southwestern Chapter, Society of Nuclear Medicine.
The SNM is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.
The SNM designates this education activity for a maximum of 18.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

VOICE Technologist Credit
The SNMTS, through its Verification of Involvement In Continuing Education (VOICE) program, has approved the SW Chapter 53rd Annual Meeting for a maximum of 18.0 continuing education hours (CEHs). VOICE-approved credit is recognized by most licensure states and by the NMTCB and ARRT (as Category A credit). Participants will receive CE credit for those lectures at which they were present a minimum of 80% of the presentation.

Continuing Pharmacy Education
The SNM is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. The assigned universal program numbers for this meeting begin with 210-999-08-011-L04 thru 210-999-07-034-L04 (Topic designations L01 - Disease State Management/Therapy and L04 - General Pharmacy up to 18.0 or 1.80 CEUs).
The Maintenance of Certification session on Saturday, March 31st is not not applicable for ACPE CE credit.
To receive continuing pharmaceutical education credit, pharmacists must scan into each session attended and complete an evaluation Form for attended sessions attended, sign, date and return it to the Registration desk. An ACPE Statement of Credit will be mailed within four weeks after the meeting.

Continuing Physicist Education
CAMPEP: This educational activity is approved to grant Medical Physics Continuing Education Credit (MPCEC) by the Commission on the Accreditation of Medical Physics Programs (CAMPEP). This activity has been approved for a maximum of 17.0 credit hours.
