52nd Annual Meeting Guest Activities

Please join us and join in the fun! We had a wonderful time last year being with each other and exploring what Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and the surroundings had to offer. Following is a look at this year's planned activities for the Ft. Worth meeting. Signing up early will help us with our planning.

Friday, March 30
Tour the historic town of Granbury & the nearby Dinosaur Park

9:30 AM Meet at front of hotel to board minivan

9:45 AM Leave for brief tour of Ft. Worth, followed by 45 minute ride to Granbury, TX , with its historically preserved town square, old court house, and interesting shops and restaurants. We will have our own fun, professional tour guide to acquaint us with local color and history and fun on the way. Lunch is on your own.

1:15 PM Minivan leaves for Glen Rose where you can see, and in dry weather walk in the dinosaur tracks. Wear comfortable shoes. (A minimal climb to the river bed required) A couple of large replicas of dinosaurs can be seen in the park.

3: 00 PM Minivan leaves to return to hotel.

Fee: $50/person. The fee includes transportation, the driver’s gratuity, the Guide’s fee and entrance to the park. The fee does not include lunch or the guide's gratuity.

Saturday, March 31
Tour the World-Class Kimball Museum and Shop at Nieman Marcus, including the option to attend a
fashion show created just for us

9:30 AM Meet at front of hotel to board luxury minicoach.

9:45 AM Leave for Kimbell Museum of Art (world class museum)

10:00 AM Docent led tour of museum's permanent collection. There will be a special Japanese exhibit on loan from The Boston Museum of Fine Art for anyone who wishes to include that in your visit. Museum entry is free. The Japanese exhibit costs $9/$7 seniors. The museum buffet lunch opens at 11:30 AM. Lunch is on your own

12:45 PM Minicoach leaves for Neiman Marcus.

1:00 PM We will be greeted by Neiman Marcus marketing director Marjon Zabihi. We will enjoy dessert in the Zodiac Room and a fashion show educating us about the season's best.

Shopping on your own. The minivan will leave at regular intervals to return to the hotel and back to the store, as the driver will accommodate us.

4:00 PM Minivan’s final return to hotel.

Fee: $32 plus $8 for dessert and fashion show
