Last year, at our meeting in Austin, we had 36 exhibiting companies. Those participating included:

Southwestern Chapter meetings are consistently highly rated by exhibit personnel. Our 50th Annual meeting should continue that record of excellence. We expect to have over 550 attendees at our upcoming 50th Annual Meeting. We had over 550 in Austin for our 49th Annual Meeting.

We will be using the convention center for our meeting space and exhibit hall. In addition to the customary reception and beverage breaks, continental breakfasts will be served in the exhibit hall, thus maximizing exhibitor exposure to attendees..

Request for Educational Grants

As you might expect, the Southwestern Chapter is planning extra expenditures related to honoring our Chapter's achievements, and the achievements of past and present leadership. We have realized that few of us have adequate knowledge of Chapter history, so we're devoting extra effort and dollars toward improving our perspective of our place in the development of nuclear medicine. We are conducting interviews with Past Presidents, gathering material of historical importance, and we'll be printing a simple spiral-bound book that includes photos and interview excerpts. We also are planning a special, multimedia history presentation narrated by some of our Chapter's Past Presidents.

Because of these exceptional but appropriate expenses, we are asking you for extra help in supporting the meeting. Even from companies that have never provided an educational grant, we will be hoping for at least a $500 unrestricted educational grant.

Brief Booth Space Details

All booths will be 10 feet long by 7 feet deep, with 8-foot high backwall drape and 3-foot siderail drape. The cost of one booth space is $1250 (this is slightly higher than our regular price due to the fact that we have meeting space rental charges since we're using the convention center). Nearly every year, we sell all of our space in the Exhibit Hall. We expect this to happen again in San Antonio. Early return of your company's application will assure the acquisition of an exhibit booth in a location of your choice. Applications will be available soon.
